About

Mitzvah for Ukraine is the non-profit fundraising arm of the Office of the Chief Rabbi. The organization operates in order to support the Office's extensive humanitarian work including overseeing soup kitchens, orphanages, medical clinics, and schools.

Our Mission

Mitzvah for Ukraine is dedicated towards supporting all Ukrainians in need, regardless of race, religion, or origin with access to shelter, food, medical treatment, educational opportunities, and trauma treatment programs.

Our Efforts

Mitzvah for Ukraine has enabled the Office of the Chief Rabbi to support numerous educational and humanitarian initiatives. In particular, since the beginning of the war, over 40,000 people to safety and the establishment of shelters for IDPs where medical care, food, and clean drinking water have been administered to all those in need.
